Cycling at the 2016 Summer Paralympics

The 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio have begun. There are a total of 50 events in the two main disciplines of road and track cycling, 18 for Track from September 8 - 11, and 32 events for Road from September 14 - 17. These events will all take place at the Rio Olympic Velodrome and the Copacapana Cluster. This year at the Rio 2016 Summer Paralympics, 150 males and 80 females will be competing in these cycling events. There are 16 factored cycling events. 2016 Rio Olympics Cycling

The 2016 Rio Olympics Cycling events have been amazing so far, with two world records broken BOTH in the Track Cycling Team Pursuit events, Great Britain's Mens AND Great Britain's Women's teams shattered the world records for Team Pursuit and took the Gold home. Quite exciting and not quite over, with two events yet to take place as of this post.

One of the wonderful things about Southern California is cruising along the coast from beach to beach on your bike.
Starting at Bike Attack Playa Vista at Runway Playa Vista, glide along Ballona Creek Bike Path to get to the coast, cruise through Marina Del Rey Harbor and explore one of SoCal’s iconic bike paths “The Strand” (Marvin Braude Bike Path) up through to Venice Pier and on towards Santa Monica Pier.
