The 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio have begun. There are a total of 50 events in the two main disciplines of road and track cycling, 18 for Track from September 8 - 11, and 32 events for Road from September 14 - 17. These events will all take place at the Rio Olympic Velodrome and the Copacapana Cluster. The 2016 Rio Olympics Cycling events have been amazing so far, with two world records broken BOTH in the Track Cycling Team Pursuit events, Great Britain's Mens AND Great Britain's Women's teams shattered the world records for Team Pursuit and took the Gold home. Quite exciting and not quite over, with two events yet to take place as of this post. Great Britain has completely dominated the Olympics cycling events, medaling in EVERY event, totaling 12 medals so far, and the USA trailing with a total medal count of 5.
