POST pandemic shipping might be delayed. Due to high demand, carrier delays, inventory shortages, customs backlogs, gridlock at the port, reduced staff and other post-pandemic related issues it might take 5-35 business days utill your order is ready. We will call you if there are further delays. This time frame does not apply for custom bikes or preorders. ETA's of Preorders can change at any time during the pandemic. Thank you for your understanding.

Bicycle Warranty And Assembly Policy

Bike Attack honors all manufacturer warranties for frames and forks if handled in compliance with manufacturer warranty rules, instructions and Bike Attack's terms and conditions. If you have a problem with the bike please contact Bike Attack ASAP. Depending on the manufacturer, brand, or company, the warranty will vary. Please refer to warranty literature for your specific purchase. These warranties do not apply to normal wear and tear, abuse, racing, accidents and alterations to the bike. All bikes are required to be assembled by a professional bike shop or the warranty is voided. 

All bikes sold online are shipped unassembled (no assembly instructions are provided) and are required to be assembled by a professional bike shop.

  • Shipping & Delivery
  • Once I’ve paid for my purchase, how long will it take for my item(s) to ship?

    Under normal circumstances shipping will take place 5-15 business days from the time your order goes through unless the item(s) in the order fall under the exceptions listed below.

  • Are there any exceptions to the 5-15 business days shipping and handling time?

    The following exceptions will require extended shipment/handling and/or delivery times:

    • Products that are temporarily out of stock.
    • Products that must be special ordered.
    • Products requiring special attention in adherence to legal and/or delivery service guidelines.
    • POST COVID 19 related shipping delays

    Under such circumstances, you will be emailed or called regarding the specifics of your order. We will notify you of any further delay in the shipment of your order.

  • Which carrier(s) handles the shipping?

    Small parts, accessories, and miscellaneous are shipped via Bike Flights, Fedex, USPS or UPS, insured, adult signature required. Bike Attack reserves up to 10 business days handling time. We will be in contact with you if there is reason for any further delay.

  • How are the bikes shipped?

    Complete bikes can only be shipped via UPS or Fedex Ground, insured and adult signature required. You or an adult in your household needs to sign for the package. UPS or Fedex make several delivery attempts and leave notes on your door. If you are unable to retrieve the package and this results in UPS or Fedex returning the bike to us you are fully responsible for the shipping costs and 20% restocking fee. Bike Attack reserves five - seven business days handling time before shipping. 

    If your bike box arrives damaged in shipping, please check the bike right away if there are any damages to the bike itself and let the UPS/FEDEX driver know and contact us right away. You will be asked to send pictures. If the damages are not being resolved with a partial refund and you want to return it, note that it should be returned in the same condition in which it was received, and it should include all items that were in the original package, including packing materials. If the box has holes and gaps we ask you to tape them over so the bike can be returned to us without further damages. If the returned item is used, damaged, or missing any parts, or is damaged during return shipping because it wasn't packaged correctly, we might deduct from the partial refund to cover the loss in the item's value.

     

    All bikes sold online come unassembled in a box unless otherwise noted. If you live in the greater Los Angeles area we might be able to assemble and fine tune your bike for you. If we ship the bike, it is required to be assembled by a local bike shop.

    All Bikes and ebikes are required to be assembled by a professional bike shop for the warranty to go in effect. Shipped bikes come without assembly instructions.

  • What if I pre-order a bike that is not in stock? All Pre-orders and orders will be fully charged at the time the order was placed. All Pre-orders and orders are final sales unless there is a problem caused by us. In specific cases - determined by management - we might be able to allow cancellations for certain pre-orders before the order was shipped or before it is ready for pick up - but 8% processing fees and handling fees are non refundable. These case by case courtesy cancellation exceptions are only possible for certain specific orders that meet certain guidelines (as determined by management) and are to be considered a pure courtesy.  Pre-orders arrival dates might change at any time without prior notice. During POST COVID 19 bike makers have limited information when bikes arrive in the country and can often not inform their dealers when or if delays occur. Bike shops are at the mercy of the bike makers inventory levels. The pandemic's high demand for bikes combined with production and supply challenges has made it impossible for manufacturers to foresee what arrives and at what time. This is not a problem occurring for any specific brand or make but is a worldwide situation for very bike maker in the world. We are striving to inform every customer as soon as we have received any new information from the manufacturer. During post pandemic most vendors do not have firm ETA's. Your preorder is secured but be aware there might be further delays.

     

  • How does Preordering effect Financing? If one or more items in your order has an extended ship date, your loan payment(s), including interest, may be due before the merchant ships all of the items. Please note that you may not receive a rebate of any interest that may have already accrued on an amount that later gets refunded.           

  • What if I’m purchasing from outside the United States?

    Bike Attack only ships within the USA.

  • How is International Shipping handled?

    Bike Attack does not ship outside the USA.

    We value privacy and security just as much as you do. We do not sell or share your information with any third party.

  • What security measures do you take?

    Online and Phone orders: If the shipping address is different from the billing address, we may ask to provide other documentation to verify authorization. This is a security measure to protect you from fraudulent use of your credit cards.

    In order to protect our customers from fraudulent transactions, the billing address is verified through your credit card company. If the billing address differs from the billing address on your bank's records, the transaction could be declined. If this happens, you should contact your credit card company to check the address they have on file for AVS (Address Verification System) purposes.

    If your transaction was declined due to AVS Mismatch (Billing address provided does not match billing address of cardholder), do not attempt to resubmit your request, as it will send multiple authorization requests to your banking institution and place holds on your funds. Please contact your banking institution to verify that the Master Billing address they have on file is the same as you entered when you registered.

  • Returns, Refunds & Replacements & Warranty
    Bicycle Return/Exchange Policy

    A bicycle or ebike may be exchanged for another bike or store credit within 7 days of the purchase date for a model of the same value or higher than the original purchase amount under these conditions:

    • The bicycle was purchased in store and not online.
    • The bicycle is un-ridden and in showroom condition as determined by the store manager.
    • The bicycle is returned with original receipt.

    No exchanges (nor refunds) will be made if the bicycle was special ordered, if the bicycle was on layaway, if the bicycle was shipped, or was purchased online or as a closeout deal such as (but not limited to) a prior year model.

    We strive to have the most up to date specifications and eliminate errors on our website and keep it up to date at all times. Manufacturers reserve the right to change specifications - including prices - of their products at any time. Specifications on our site might change without prior notice. Bike Attack apologizes in advance for any errors, and is not responsible for these differences/errors.

    All bicycle online sales, phone orders and special orders are final sales, unless there was a problem with the order caused by us. For additional questions, please contact Sales@BikeAttack.com

    All coupons, discounts and sales offer are valid during the time of the promotion and can not be applied after or before the promotion was active. Only One coupon/discount/sales offer can be applied at a time.

    If there was no problem with the bike or ebike but you changed your mind about the special order or online order for other reasons - in some cases we might grant an exception and agree to issue a courtesy refund for your order within a limited time of 2 weeks after the order was placed - but we have to charge a 20% restocking fee. If your bike was ordered online and was shipped, you are responsible for the shipping costs to you and to us. When you ship it back to us we require it to be shipped fully insured - and in case of an electric bike - you need to declare it as an electric bicycle with the shipping company. In case of damage that might occur while being shipped back to us you are responsible for the damage. Also note that some shipping companies do not ship electric bikes unless the shipper is hazmat certified.

     

    We require to adhere to these terms because of the extremely high costs of shipping a bicycle or electric bike and because of the high non-refundable credit card and Paypal processing fees.

     

  • Accessories Return/Exchange Policy
    • All regularly priced accessories may be returned for a full refund by within 7 days of purchase if unopened, in its original packaging, and accompanied by the original receipt.
    • Sale and clearance items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
    • Shoes, clothing, helmets and all other wearable(s) and/or accessories can NOT be returned/exchanged.

    Refunds will be given via store credit, or original payment method used, based on management discretion. Returns purchased on credit cards will only be credited back to the same credit card. Refunds will not be given if the above conditions are not met.

  • Parts Return/Exchange Policy

    Parts in its original packaging and condition, as well as accompanied with its original purchase receipt are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of original purchase dated on receipt.

    Special ordered parts and items, online sales, sale items, layaway items, and parts/accessories that were installed are not eligible for refund or exchange.

  • Labor

    Labor charges are non-refundable.

    If there was a problem with a repair or part installation, please don't hesitate to contact us, we will work towards finding a resolution.

  • Declined Orders
    My order was declined. Will I be charged for this order?

    If your order was declined, you may still see pending charges on your account. This is all dependent on your bank and/or credit card company’s rules and regulations.

    When an order is placed, the transaction is sent to the bank for billing address verification and for availability of funds. The bank may hold the funds for that transaction, even if the order is declined. The hold most likely will drop off automatically in 1 to 3 business days, since the transaction was not completed.

    Some banks, such as credit unions, may take longer or have additional restrictions on transactions. Bike Attack has no control over these actions- please contact your bank or credit card provider regarding any of these issues.

  • Payments & Pricing

    Bike Attack accepts all major credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners), Apple Pay and Paypal for in store and online purchases.

    Prices are subject to change. This is beyond our control and we apologize in advance for any price change that was not updated to the website. We always strive to eliminate errors and try hard to minimize them.
