EVO-LAP TECHNOLOGY

Advanced carbon fibers combined with FEA software were used to simulate different forces that exist in the real world to map out and optimize the carbon lay-up for a super light and compact frame that won’t sacrifice stiffness, comfort, or impact resistance.

EASY SHOCK ACCESS

Access the shock via the bottom bracket area through a hatch.

PATENTED INTEGRATED SUSPENSION SYSTEM

An integrated shock platform allows Scott to refine suspension characteristics without sacrificing weight. For the optimal performance of a suspension shock, power transfer must be the most direct possible. The frame construction around the shock and with the trunnion mount can be designed to be much more rigid, reducing movement and fostering more efficient power transfer. Much larger bearings can be added to the seat tube pivot, further reinforcing this area and reducing any unnecessary motion. The lower shock placement lowers the center of gravity which allows for better handling, and a more stable, confidence inspiring ride. This results in a more efficient shock performance while being fully protected from any foreign elements.

Features a T25, T30, and a 6 allen key all in one to help you adjust all pivot hardware and nearly everything else there is to adjust on the bicycle.

SINGLE PIVOT SUSPENSION LAYOUT

It has a very specific and proven kinematic and less unsprung mass. Using a flex pivot in the seat stay is an ideal solution for bikes in this travel range. This allows for a very lightweight system while still ensuring optimal suspension performance.

SYNCROS FRASER IC COMBO

The shape allows for the cables to flow under the bar and around the sides of the stem before disappearing into the headset with integrated plastic parts for cleanliness and efficiency. This helps avoid bends or kinks in the cables and provides a minimalist front end. Options for computer, light, and camera mounts on both the top and under the bar are possible.

NUDE SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY

Nude 5 shock places great emphasis on versatility… Descend mode gives you the full amount of available rear wheel travel. The shock is fully optimized for downhill performance in air spring rate and damping. The fork is fully open. In Traction Control mode you sit higher in the sock’s travel, ground to pedal clearance is increased, effectively moving you forward into a more efficient position for putting down the power and clearing technical climbs. The bike becomes more agile, more nimble and more efficient without sacrificing traction or sensitivity. Compression dampening is simultaneously increased in the fork in an effort to keep the bike well balanced.  In lockout mode it is perfect for smooth road or fire road transitions, or simply riding to the trailhead. The fork is just as firm as the shock.

TWINLOC SUSPENSION SYSTEM

With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Extra travel allows for a more fun ride and capability on the descents. TwinLoc helps manage the sag such as dynamically altering the geometry of the bike. In Trail mode, the shock is firmer and has dynamically less travel. The bike sits higher while maintaining a steep seat angle for those climbs while becoming more agile. The full lockout mode is for going up in the most efficient way possible. This can help optimize climbing geometry for a good time riding.
