The Masi Gran Criterium is undeniably their most iconic bicycle. First manufactured in Italy in 1970, the "Gran Crit" evolved from the custom geometries that Faliero Masi had supplied to some of the greatest champions of post war, European peloton. And when Faliero arrived in Carlsbad, California in the early 1970's, it was the Gran Criterium that staked Masi’s claim as a leader, and innovator, in the thriving US racing scene.

The 2016 Masi Gran Criterium frame Package is the first phase of a series of initiatives that we release to commemorate Masi's unique, 90 year role in steel bicycle design and construction.
