A solid choice
I have over 200 miles on this bike, and for the price, I think it will be hard to beat. I had it shipped to me but was able to build it with the help of a YouTube video, no problem. The back end comes pre-assembled. I just had to spend a while rejiggering both fenders to not rub. It even came with a great bike multitool! Cons: Heavy, no integrated lights. I think of this thing as like the Harley of bicycles. Beefy frame, thick tires, big battery, heavy! Most of us are NOT going to be able to use a vertical parking rack. It's also not something you'll reasonably want to ride without pedal assist, like the lighter bikes advertise. Additionally, mine came with a defective seat post (the saddle spun freely), but the manufacturer sent me another one when I asked. Pros: Rack and fenders, uncluttered display, good brakes, buttery-smooth shifting, distinctive look. Shocks and tires that keep you rock steady and comfy in the saddle. Battery info: I weigh ~135 and bike just over 11mi each way to work, over some notable hills, with a commuter's pannier. I rarely go over pedal assist 3 and hardly ever use the throttle. If I don't charge the battery, the bike will get sluggish on my second commute home, about 5mi out, and then die about a mile from my house. So ~45mi is too much to ask of this thing, but that's fair! It plugs along just fine for about 40mi, as it says it will!
